After hearing the original mix by Thulane I was immediately drawn to the beats and melody. I wanted to add my own "golden touch" to it. For the remix, I added my own flavor to bring out the already deep house vocals in Thulane's original track.

Born on Chicago's south side, midas reTouch spent his teen years and early adult life hanging out at clubs such as the Warehouse, The Playground, Sauers, and La Mirage before heading off to college where he studied Computer Information Processing, Radio & Television, Art, Speech, and Piano. Inspired by Chicago's House Music scene, midas reTouch never lost his appreciation for house music and those he listened to as a young man: Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson, and WBMX's legendary Hot Mix 5. DJ midas reTouch was always encouraged by his dad, a Saxophonists, to follow his musical talents as well as his sister DJ E Dizz.
Currently, midas reTouch hosts The Gold Room Sessions featuring House/Deep House/Soulful House music weekly on PhillyNites Radio. His mixes have also been featured on Ibiza Live Radio, Basement Soul Radio, and other internet radio stations in the UK. DJ midas reTouch also produces promotional videos and has done voice over work for House Music events.
